From the Poll I have Windows 2000 and XP
XP/2003 Server on the main school network, 2k on the Computing/Business Studies network. We also still have a couple of 98/ME () standalone systems lurking about.

I have a selection of XP clients and Linux clients all running Citrix off Server 2003 servers.
On the curriculum side we have 3 w2k servers and all the clients on Windows xp. On the admin side we have a w2k3 server with a mix of windows 2000 pro and xp.
5 W2K3 Servers
1 W2k3 Citrix Termianl Server
XP Clients
Linux thin Clients

xp w/s
2000/2003 servers
plus a nt server due for kick out the door i.e retiring
and some 98 still about due to go soon to be replaced by mac mini's
Russ
I didn't vote as I could only pick 1 ...
3 Windows Servers
3 Linux Servers
4 Solaris Servers
1 OSX Server
2 Classes of Sunrays (mainly used as citrix clients)
1 Class of acorn thin clients soon to be replaced by 1 class of macs
The rest PCs (2000 and XP but we are going to get some to dual boot into fedora core for the computing students)
I think!
Mostly XP, 2k and 2k3 servers, an old NT4 server and a couple of W98 clients still hiding in the corner.
Server 2000/2003 2K and XP over here, trying to get rid of the 2 old 2K server boxes but need some serious hardware upgrades before its worth doing as its the exchange server box![]()
98 / XP (more XP than 98 atm) = w/s
2003 and one 2k = server
N.
110 W95 & W98 as Citrix thin clients
20 W2K clients
150 XP clients
1 W2003Serv DC
3 W2K App Servers
4 W2K file servers
1 Linux Slackware Email Server
750 XP Clients
150 Thin Client Windows CE
8 2003 Servers
The secondary school has a mix of 2k and XP workstations with 2k, 2k3 and Linux servers.
The primary schools either have a mishmash of various windows PCs ranging from XP to 3.1(!). A few are lucky enough to have 2k/2k3 servers. I'm trying to get things moved along but suffer from a lack of money. There's a few Linux boxes scattered about doing various useful functions behind the scenes.
If this post was in America I think Mac OS10 would be winning. Would people benefit from Linux versions of software, drivers etc.
