I have just got a network scannner and i am just setting it up an it can push files from it to a folder on the network but it needs to be done via ftp so i need to set up an ftp server on one of my servers.
It is a Axis 70U Network Document Server that the scanner plugs into which acts as the ftp sender.
How do i do this ? i have had to set up an ftp server for this before
Cheers
Dan

11th February 2009, 11:17 AM #2 I did this with our 3 new HP network scanners the other day (same document server it seems as yours).
I just installed the IIS FTP server component, created a folder in the FTP root (done through the IIS Manager tool) and set up permissions. Then on the device, set the settings as necessary. Took about a minute to do.
