    IE8 Release Candidate

A nice little pop up came up telling me I had an important update to install and lo and behold its the new version of IE8.

A quick reboot later and here I am using it. Managed to crash it within 5 minutes and all the windows closed down (thought they were all independant now???) but after that it seems lovely and pretty fast.

Still prefer IE to FF.. I know I should be burned at the stake but I do

I didn't realise it was coming through Automatic Updates.

I was running the beta version so it might have only been an update for that.

I did try and remove it but the bugger is there for good.

If you're running an existing version of IE8 you'll receive the new updated version and/or patches to IE8 through Automatic Updates. I still haven't looked at it yet, simply haven't had the time!
