    Sharp MX-4500n

    We have a MX-4500n photocopier/printer in school.

The photocopier works fine but today i decied to connect it up to the network and assigned and IP address and installed the drivers on one of our XP machine.
The problem is that everytime i try and send a print job, it goes through the queue, tells me its printing, clears the queue but never gets printed!!!!

I am completely baffled as to what is happening? Tried reinstalling the drivers, but no luck whatsoever!!! Any ideaas as to what might be happening?

i've had this problem ... it's really stupid thing to solve as well, and baffled me ..

Go into Properties of the printer

    Click on Port's

'Configure' the port that your printer is on and untick 'SNMP Status Enabled'

    This should solve it ..

When you are adding it to the computer are you going Local printer or Network, because when i had my network photocopier/printer at home i had to go "Local Printer (Untick Auto detection) > Create A New Port > IP Address > Install the Drivers" for it to print properly.
