Good one Matt, well though out!
D
What is the size of your largest Ghost Image? Less than 1gb with Full Compression
Where do you keep your Ghost Images? On our "CDROMS Server" (Dell PowerEdge 2900) on the RAID 5 "Data" array
Do you periodically Update your images with all the Updates and Software available? No. We have WSUS for this and all our application software is strictly deployed via GPO or run centrally from our "CDROMS Server".
Do you have an image for each model PC or for Each Room/Department with the relevant software on the image? Just a basic Syspreped image of a Windows XP SP3 install with Device Drivers installed for each model.
Cheers Ben![]()

I read that a number of people are spending way too much time updating and deploying multiple images. If you would like to save substantial time and money on imaging, look at Universal Imaging Utility. Works best with Ghost (but any other cloning software as well) and creates one hardware-independent image that is easily deployable across your entire environment.
