14th January 2009, 09:45 AM #2 You can't join a Domain with XP Home

14th January 2009, 09:47 AM #3 XP Home computers are not able to join a domain, you'd have to upgrade to XP Pro.
Its possible to work around this, but XP Home will only recognise local accounts so you'd need to get all of the local accounts set up on every computer.
If you have volume licensing then your best bet would be to talk to your licensing supplier about getting licenses to upgrade them all to XP Pro.

14th January 2009, 09:55 AM #5 Speak to Novatech and see if they can OEM license it for Pro for a little bit more, as they're smaller than the big suppliers they might be able to arrange something for you.
