Are you installing ISA on a clean Server 2003 installation?
@Box_i: Yes I’ve read that but it didn’t help, thanks anyway. In the end I had to remove the server from the domain before ISA would install. Talk about being a pain, and to cap it ISA 2006 looks completely different to the 2000 version I know well so now I need to waste more time learning how to configure the thing![]()

On the plus side ISA is vastly better layed out and much more capible than 2000, I would never go back to 2000 after using its successors.
You may be able to rejoin the ISA box to the domain after you have got ISA installed, I have not had any issues when installing ISA on domain joined computers, from the errors it may have been a permissions thing with the user that you were installing under.
Yes I see the interface has had an overhaul and looks all the better for it. Now all I need is an idiot’s guide to setting up ISA, as all the sites I’ve found so far talk about it as if you’re an expert.

I've always found this site helpful:
ISA Server 2006 / 2004 / 2000 Articles & Tutorials
