    Disabling microsoft office warning

we are getting a warning within microsoft powerpoint 2003

when starting a flash file from a hyperlink we get the following error:

"some files can contain viruses or otherwise be harmful to your computer.

it is important to be certain that this file is from a trustworthy source

would you like to open this file?

is there a way to disable this warning

    Thanks

There maybe something in the group policy setting for powerpoint 2003. Might be worth having a look in there.

Office 2003's default Macro setting is set to high. I recommend you set it to medium, so it still prompts the user (but in a more friendly way). I wouldn't recommend setting it to low.

You can do this using a GPO by downloading the Office Resource Kit.

Once you've loaded the Excel11 ADM file, enable the following policy:

Microsoft Office Excel 2003 > Tools | Macro > Security

    Security Level - Medium
