we are getting a warning within microsoft powerpoint 2003
when starting a flash file from a hyperlink we get the following error:
"some files can contain viruses or otherwise be harmful to your computer.
it is important to be certain that this file is from a trustworthy source
would you like to open this file?
is there a way to disable this warning

2nd December 2008, 05:00 PM #2 There maybe something in the group policy setting for powerpoint 2003. Might be worth having a look in there.

3rd December 2008, 09:43 AM #3 Office 2003's default Macro setting is set to high. I recommend you set it to medium, so it still prompts the user (but in a more friendly way). I wouldn't recommend setting it to low.
You can do this using a GPO by downloading the Office Resource Kit.
Once you've loaded the Excel11 ADM file, enable the following policy:
Microsoft Office Excel 2003 > Tools | Macro > Security
Security Level - Medium
