Exchange Organisation Receiving Messages Sizes?
We have the default 10MB limit on incoming e-mails and I have set up my own account in Active Directory to have a 100MB limit. Earlier on today someone has tried to send me an 11MB attachment and Exchange has generated an NDR for it with the following error:
The message size was large or the local quota exceeded. For example, remote Exchange user might have delivery restrictions set with maximum incoming message size.
Solution: Check access permissions as well as the message size
Shouldn't the limit in AD override the defaults on the organisation?
Has anybody else come across this before?
Cheers
Adam.

Problem solved! A users mailbox setting will override the global setting except for All Internet E-Mails because the message categorizer evaluates the send/recieve limits instead of the information store
