    publisher

    has any one ever came across this

    when pupil working on a publisher document on the vle for some reason its not saving correctly its happening for alot of pupils

    Without knowing which VLE you're using, is the pupil opening the doc from the VLE and then saving it to the browsers temporary download location, rather than back to the VLE/Home drive?

    We've had a few kids do that on Moodle, most only make the mistake once.

    sorry yes i ment ms publisher their has been some kb artical on ms website about using norton and how it some how modifes the document and then making it unable to open but i dont think this is the case for us. we are using sharepoint 2003 soon to be 2007 when they click the link in the share point it opens up their N drive in a web folder.
