Hey Guys,
Been racking my brain with this one all night. I'm trying to prepare my AD Schema on our Exchange server. I m running the exchange server on Windows 2003 64bit and my AD is sitting on a Windows 2003 server.
When i try to execute the 'setup /prepareschema' command i get a pop up box with the message 'Go to the Control Panel to install and configure system components.'
I have installed .net 2.0 with service pack, Powershell, and Windows 2003 SP2.
I m in the middle of installing .Net 3.0 to see if that makes a difference.
Any assistance would be very helpful.

1st November 2008, 12:39 PM #3 You need to ensure you prefix the 'setup' command with the drive letter and path of the exchange 2007 install disc or network location (e.g. d:\setup.exe) or otherwise Windows will assume you're running Windows Setup and moan about starting it from Control Panel.
