Same image, differnet themes at startup
This is not really a ‘problem’ so to speak but I’m just curious as to what might happening….
I created a ghost image for a batch of laptops – everything works fine, no probs at all.
I then put that image onto two clean, straight out of the box laptops then logged onto the machine as local admin so I can add to domain etc.
Now this is the puzzling part…
1 laptop presented me with the classic desktop / start menu while the other laptop had the XP desktop.
Both identical machines, identical image, logged onto locally as administrator but had different themes.
Any ideas as to why this could be?
Like I said above, it’s not a huge problem at all, but it’s just bugging the hell out of me!!!!!

Re: Same image, differnet themes at startup
Corrupt profile on the laptop with the wrong theme. Mighr even of been a bad reimage. Try redoing it.
