Just got this from Daemon Tools sales and marketing.

DAEMON Tools Lite is free for home use only. I.e. if you are planning to use this program in any organization then you have to buy a License for DAEMON Tools Lite. We can offer Multi-Instance License for corresponding number of computers (operating systems) with special discounts as for educational institution.

You need to purchase a license. It's 50% off the normal cost.

I have just been asked to look into this and the idea of creating an image and mounting seems fine.

One slight problem, I am unable to create an image of the disc, keeps coming back with an L-EC Uncorrectable Error.

    Any ideas?

It's either copy protection or a damaged disc.

Some products can be told to ignore errors when reading to an image (CDBurnerXP if memory serves), if it's not copy protection though you just end up with a partially working image that has corrupt files on it somewhere.

Which program are you using to create the image? You may want to try either ISOBuster or ISOPuzzle. Both programs will skip the bad parts of the disc.
