Anyone have any recommendations for a webcam software that can be used on the network for students to communicate with one another from one classroom to another?
I don't want the software to connect to the internet or anything like that. Just simply to be used on the network and nothing else.
Thanking you.

8th October 2008, 04:12 PM #3 You can use conf.exe (Netmeeting) with GNUGK and a little configuration to set up named calling as it acts as a switchboard for netmeeting calls, no support for the directory bit though unfourtunatly.
Most of the configuration for this is manual though so it can be time consuming, sort of that they must type in the ip or hostname of the station that the wish to contact in order to open communication.
There is also a version of netmeeting for Vista avalible but you must request it specially from MS.
