Default File replication service in Svr 2003 sp 3

Hi
Just rebuilt with help from the county my DC everything seems fine except nothing can see the domain. Just looking thro' the replication event log and the last message is
File Replication Service is scanning the data in the system volume. Computer MAELOR-1 cannot become a domain controller until this process is complete. The system volume will then be shared as SYSVOL.
We seem to have benn in this position for about an hour or so - is this right?

Peter

So is it replicating from another DC, ie you have 2 DCs and you are rebuilding one of them?

If yes, then yes it does take a while, took my DC well over an hour to fully repliate everything
