I need some sort of messenger program

I've just been asked if there is some sort of messenger type program we/the kids could use to speak to a school in another country?

Get the head to make the request to the service desk and BGfL will enable messenger for the school!

meebo - online web IM for AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Google Talk messengers

You will probably need to get the site unblocked but it gives you access to all the major IM networks through a nice web based ajax interface.
