VI Software (Visual Impairment)
Hi, i work at Fallibroome High School under the CHESHIRE LEA, and we are unfortunately being forced to use supernova for our VI Students. I was wondering if anybody knew of any other VI software which improve our situation?
Any help would be grately appreciated.

I'm not familiar with supernova, however Windows XP for example allows you to enlarge text and icons for people who are visually impaired. Display Properties > Appearance
Microsoft Office 2003 also allows you to have larger buttons which helps. View > Toolbars > Customise. Tick Large icons.

We need full software that allows enlargement and help
Unfortunately, windows magnifier etc is not enough for us, if you look at the specs of supernova, this is basically what we need, but with a better GUI. Supernova is awful in terms of usability.

A usability program with awful usability? Oh dear. How about something like Naturally Speaking from Nuance where you can write, speak commands and browse the web with it.

Supernova is the only software we have have found that is suitable for our VI students, unfortuneately you just have to bear with the interface, I know they are currently reworking the whole GUI, so next version shuld be an improvement!
