Our students occasionally create documents with very long filenames that can cause problems when the path/filename length exceeds 255 (or is it 260?) characters in length. Usually it is because they have created a word document and have saved it without specifying a file name. Has anyone any suggestions about how I can restrict/prevent these very long file names?
