excel formula help again please
Im looking for a way to take the first letter of the contents of column A, and combine it with the contents of column B, to make new contents of column C, with a space between them. Im sure this is possible but I have no idea what it might be called to even start looking.
Basically its firstname and surname, and im trying to create the usernames from them, so "andrew" "smith" would become "a smith"
Any excel guru able to give us a tip please?

You could also use CONCATENATE which gives a few more options.
