10th August 2008, 06:54 PM #4 I'd check the permissions on any folders that might be required on logon - NETLOGON on the dc, any folders containing scripts that run.

10th August 2008, 07:06 PM #5 It does sound like something that is being blocked. What scripts if any do you have running?

10th August 2008, 07:57 PM #6 I agree with previous comments. It'll be something in your logon script which is creating the error (more than likely).

10th August 2008, 08:36 PM #7 MSN Messenger ?
we used to have that but that was due to the fact that msn messenger or something of the likes was starting up when a user logged in and was disabled via GPO hence the error message just as an example - maybe something you can look into ?

11th August 2008, 10:43 AM #8 Yep. Used to see that too when a program is "not allowed" to run via policies applied via GP.
Take a look in Event Viewer on the machine. Would expect it to say more there, or look in the registry under Run section for that user and local machine and see whats firing up.
Cheers
Nath.
