Is there a setting somewhere in Windows that tells a VPN connection to automatically disconnect after a certain length of time?

Seems to me there is no need: Run the VPN on Vista and it will usually disconnect after around 1 min. 30 secs.

Seriously though that IS what is happening to me at home, but on the virtual machine [running XP] installed on Vista, it stays connected for hours at a time. This would be OK if it were not so slow.
