Windows XP Explorer Multiple Printing

Is it just us or is it a rubbish function that needs enabling as we are unable to pick multiple documents and print them from win xp explorer. We use office 2007.

Maybe it's a group policy in place as all you need to do is highlight multiple files you want to print, right click and choose the 'print' option.
Or better still, just drag and drop multiple documents onto the printer...?
