    strange wireless problem

Bought the linux eee900 but put xp pro sp3 on it. Problem is theres something up with the wireless. It worked after first install but has stopped working now. I have updated the bios and the driver but none of that fixes the problem.

Fn+f2 turns it on and off

Device manager it is working no conflicts

When i enable the connection, the ballon pops up to tell me wireless networks are available, but when i open the Windows wireless thing it says No networks found.

Manually adding the SSID etc doesnt work

I installed netstumbler and it finds the wireless networks no problem, so it seems its a proiblem with the windows utitlity.

Can anyone offer a suggestion about what I might try next?

OK i have fixed this problem. I had disabled some - what I thought unecessary services - seems one of them is key.

I have re-enabled all services and wireless is once again working
