    FileServer Performance Monitoring (Specifically 2k3)

    Hello All,

I wonder if someone could give me some advice on the best performance counters to be using when monitoring a fileserver.

A certain member of staff told me that access to the my documents areas has been sluggish for students over the last couple of days. I have not witnessed this yet myself, but thought i should look into it.

    Thanks in advance

It could be anything on the server so I would start with a few basic ones for CPU HD activity Memory and network. Then if you notice one in particular you can look into that further with more options under that section.
