I'm looking for a clever file search application that will accept more than just "find x type of file"
For example if I wanted to search D: for files != *.mp3
Anybody know of anything?
Many thanks

17th June 2008, 12:17 PM #5 Agent ransack is an excellent little app and supports regular expression search filtering on filename/path and text content. It also seems quite happy to work in 'portable' mode if you just copy the files to a USB drive.

17th June 2008, 01:56 PM #7 If its specifically media files, etc you're after then you could do a lot worse tha paul Beesly's Edusweep
Announcing EduSweep at Paul Beesley
Its blummin' ace
produces a list of meida/scripts/exe's from a network drive, and you can quarantine or delete files straight from the report
