    Maximized windows!

We have machines in a certain room set up to open each folder in its own window in XP Folder Options.

How do you set it so each of these windows always opens up in a maximized state?

There are only two ways (as far as I can see). Create a shortcut to a folder on your desktop, right click the shortcut and choose Properties. In the Run field, specify Maximised.

Alternatively press F11. This works with Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer.

We use a little program called autosizer to automatically maximise windows on some pc's.

Automatically Resize Your Programs - AutoSizer
