In the list find the network card listed (should have an exclamation mark) and right click on it, choose Update Driver Software.
Click Browse my Computer for Software>Let me pick from a list....> Choose Network Adaptors, then Have disk. just browse to where the .inf file was extracted to. Accept any prompts regarding signed drivers.
When i choose the .inf file, it says that the file contains no information about the hardware and wont let me continue. Please help!

Gentlemen, ladies and everyone else that gives of their time freely .. THANK YOU SO Much! My head has been fried after a long day at work and coming home to hours looking for answers online. I just wanted to get my sons new pc up and running for him in time for Christmas.

Hi guys sorry to be a pain but I have limited or no connectivity with the laptop I have installed the driver to I have given the wep to access the network but I am not sure if I have missed something any ideas please

Hi guys an update to this issue once the driver is installing it says that,"Windows does not recognise this file and is not compatible with microsoft and will make the system unreliable",also once the file has continued you still have a cross on the wireless connection but it is crashing my router everytime I try to connect with that laptop is the driver corrupt?also when I ping from the laptop concerned it has no ip adress cannot obtain one.
please can someone advise I am about to see if a Sony Vaio can fly LOL!!!!!!
