Load a CD ISO from a network share.

I have a number of CDs that contain material that can only be accessed via the cd-rom. Is there a utility that would be pretty foolproof and allow children to somehow mount a remote CD image and run material contained on it?

I regularly use Daemon Tools, but I think it would be a little too technical for pupils. Anything school-friendly that you think would be of use?

    Cheers.

I use DaemonTools here, if you combine it with DaemonScript you can write scripts to mount the correct ISO and launch the CD from a single shortcut. Seems to do the job! It's available on the DaemonTools download pages, no direct link to a single page.

You can script Daemon tools. So basically install the scripting stuff from their web site (it's under the extras bit) then use a batch file to launch the software that mounts/unmounts the ISO as required.

Virtual CD IIRC You can create shortcuts that mount the correct iso.

Cheers for the replies. I forgot about the scripting abilities of Daemon Tools, so I'll have a play about. Checked out Virtual CD but it's a paid-for product. Thanks all the same!
