The title says it all. If you create a new mail, click on 'To' then the box opens but no contacts are visable. They are visable when you click on your 'Contacts' folder though, and you can successfully search for a contact. Is it an IIS setting I am missing or something else?

Ooops. I've been a dummy. It's supposed to do this. Thanks Ric.

Is there any way around this? The new head here's asked why they're not showing up using OWA on his PC when they do using Outlook on his Laptop...
Apparently it did it differently at his last school :-s

13th May 2008, 11:21 AM #4 Just had an update from the head about this, when he's searched for the contact, and clicked on their name in the results, the "To", "CC", "BCC" boxes don't become available, so he can't send them mail like that.
I've not had chance to get to the PC to look properly yet as there's meetings in there all day, so thought I'd check here first...
Has anyone else had this problem and solved it?

13th May 2008, 11:29 AM #5 Try starting a new email
Click on the "To" button
In the top right of the pop-up, there's a box headed "Show names from the:"
It will say "Contacts"
Click on the arrow next to it.
Is there another contacts folder in the drop-down? If so try selecting that. I suspect the contacts will be there.
It's happening on my Outlook ever since I had to rebuild my profile. I haven't bothered to work out to fix it as I'm happy to use the drop down. I really must; sooner or later it's going to happen to someone important here!

13th May 2008, 11:46 AM #6 Thanks for the reply...
The contacts are being listed when he's searched for them, it's just not letting him click "To" etc. once he's selected them from the list.
