Chinese Character Encoding Outlook 2007
Hi,
Apologies if this is in the wrong section.
Basically a colleague of mine created a web form whereby it would send a web page to people's outlook depending on a case statement. This works well. However I created a web page that I intend to send to my Outlook 2007 for testing.
The web page was created in Dreamweaver using the encoding Chinese GB2312. When I link this up with the web form to be sent to my email, the message automatically opens up using the encoding Western European, hence all the Chinese characters appear garbled. When opening the page in Internet Explorer it is using the correct encoding. Can someone explain why it does open in Outlook 2007 with the correct encoding.
Many Thanks in advance.
Rob
