    Adobe Flash Player version 9.0.124.0

Ive installed the latest version of flash onto an image.

However, when you visit sites that need flash. ie. bbc news, disney.go.com, I am told I need the latest version of flash installed, even though I already have it!!!

    Any ideas, clues?? Much appreciated.

Out of interest if you run the installer again for the same version you put on the image does it then work or still moan?

Have you just installed the Flash Player, and not the ActiveX web browser version?

I seem to have to install three on my images - the player, and the web browser plugins for Firefox and IE.

Sometime it helps to try running a repair on Flash (via the control panel > add/remove programs)

I've found lately that all my new machines require this to get them working...

I've been having a long-running battle with BBC website:

This culminated in this thread: IE7 + Shockwave +XP

I'm currently being succesful with the combination of most recent JRE, Flash 9, Shockwave 10.3, IE7 and XP Pro SP2... it seems there is an interdepndancy with BBC in particular.

This combination has been stable for 1 week... so it'll probably fail by this afternoon

I've been hugging forests, but global deforestation and the extinction of the local flying pigs means that good luck charms are in short supply

We have had the exact same issue. It was because we updated from an older version. If you remove all older versions before hand you shouldn’t have any problems.

Just like the Java updates - it never takes off the old one!
