Re: Restricting 'Rip' from Windows Media Player

Publisher is the most evil program ever created. Especially Publisher 2000. It coverts everything to a bitmap, fills up your RAM then kills its host PC, then it has the cheek to save 60MB files to user areas.

I would disagree Chris, Publisher 2000 is a vast improvement on 98. Not only does Pub98 create ridiculously large files and then randomly save a number of .TMP files (essentially copies of the document) it also refuses to work half the time - with the effect of some fool coming and bothering you!

Ahhh I'm not on my own then! HUGE Publisher files are the single biggest pain the backside re: pupils' user areas!

Then again wait untill you have members of staff who insert uncompressed .png's (another work of Satan) freshly created in Fireworks into a Publisher file!!
