Query AD on object created date

Hi

I want to pull a list of users from from an OU in AD based on the date the user object was created.

I've had a look at creating a new query but I can't see a date created / modified field with which to query.

I'm sure it's possible, but I can't seem to see how!

Any help would be great

"createTimeStamp" and "modifyTimeStamp"? You can run adsiedit.msc on the server to check these out.

With LDAP you can pull out the whenChanged and whenCreated attribute. For example (net command on Linux..):

titan ~ # net ads dn 'CN=administrator,CN=Users,DC=carrhill,DC=lancs,DC=sch,DC=uk' -U Administrator | grep when
Administrator's password:

whenCreated: 20060205132743.0Z
whenChanged: 20060214164856.0Z

Format is YYYYMMDDHHMMSS

I ended up doing the following

(&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user)(&(when Created>=20060120000000.0Z)))

which works great
