Cannot acces Internet via ISA Server after domain migration
We have recently migrated our domain, restructuring our forsest into 2 domains (child/parent). I am now unable to access the Internet via our ISA Server which exists in the parent domain, for either the parent or the child.
I can ping the server and resolve the name from both a client on the child domain and my own machine on the parent domain.
Any ideas why I can't access the Internet through it?
Cheers
Adam.

14th April 2008, 01:50 PM #2 Does your ISA server have the correct groups set up which would contain the PC from which you are having problems?

14th April 2008, 01:53 PM #3 It could be that the ISA server is configured using rules that check if the users are in a particular group before allowing them access to the Internet. For example the rule that allows net access may allow it for Domain Users or Teachers, Students and Staff group from your old domain.
If these rules have not been altered with the groups from your new domain this may very well be the cause of your problem.

I ended up rebuilding the server. It was quicker. I suspect something went wrong when it was migrated between domains.
All working now.
Thanks.
