Problem setting default printers

All our staff have roamining profiles. I am having a problem where when a memeber of staff sets a printer as default the next time the log on it does not seem to remember and defaults back to the CutePDF writer we have installed.

Are they using mandatory profiles? i.e NTUSER.MAN instead of NTUSER.DAT.

.dat is what is used
