Think I understand what you mean, in Outlook if you open a new email, click 'To', find the accounts@ group that you want to edit the members of, right click, and say properties, then hit Modify members. From there you should be able to add/remove members from that particular group email address which should get around having to find it in AD.
Worth mentioning though that email distribution groups can also be security groups, so if you are adding/removing members it is probably worth checking that you're not giving users access to files/folders they shouldn't have access to!

Simple option is to either use a distribution group if you want the emails to go to more than 1 user. To move emails from user2@ to accounts@ just delete the SMTP alias from user2's account and add it in to the accoutns@ option and it will do the rest all new mail to user 2 will go to accounts @ automaticall.
