Very strange then as apart from that everything seems to be working fine. 2 of the clients have downloaded updates and I have clicked "shutdown and installed updates" instead of waiting until the morning. Then powered them back up all ok and they have downloaded the next set of updates etcdoesn't seem to be a problem!!!!

Hi, just a quick update on this. I fixed the problem by install WSUS on another server, works perfect now.

It is a little strange I have to say. The best way to describe a network is like any single road, you get 1 house no. 27, 28, 29, 30 etc and a computer network is the same. If you had two houses with the same IP, the poor old postman wouldn't know where to deliver the mail. I often use that example with the kids which works a treatVery strange then as apart from that everything seems to be working fine. 2 of the clients have downloaded updates and I have clicked "shutdown and installed updates" instead of waiting until the morning. I know what you mean but it must just be displaying them wrong or something...
The server pings all 4 machines with the correct ip address, can navigate to them all ok on the C$ share. All 4 have different state of updatingit's not getting them confused at all by the looks of it just displaying the address wrong!
