    Talking WDS vs Adobe

Hello everyone, got a really annoying problem here which i hope someone can help me with.

Our school is currently running a Windows Server 2003(SP2) network with XP deployed to all clients via WDS. All works great no problems until i come to install Adobe Production Studio on a deployed client.

When installing onto the client off the DVD, it skipps through the DVD really quick and then says its completed. However upon closer examination it has not installed. (I am installing it through the Domain Administrator account so i cant find any permission issues)

    Anyone got any ideas

Any help would be gratefully recieved.

    Cheers

What do the event logs report? Does it dump an install logfile anywhere on the disk?

Check for command-line switches that allow you to set a logfile for the install if it doesn't create one normally.

    Smile

The event log states that its event ID 11708 and the source is MsiInstaller but all its says is installation failed in the description box. Which isnt really a lot of help.

As for getting an install log, the system has not created one and i cant work out how to make it create one.

    Cheers for you help though.
