Been hunting around the internet for a way to start the on screen keyboard in windows xp sp2 at the logon screen but so far the answer has eluded me.
Does anyone have any ideas how to do this?
Thanks
Adam

If you press CTRL+U on the login screen you can bring up the on screen Keyboard that way

Could a computer startup script work? I've never tried, but just an idea.

That would work michael, either do it by CTRL+U or like you say set a script in GP to run on certain machines start-up.speak to the scripting guys for that :P
did this years ago for a quadraplegic student who used a headset tracker mouse thing.
used somewhere in hklm/software/windows/???/winlogon? in the registry
i cannot find the reg key i kept for years
worked very well for her.
also i see people using OSKGina v2.0 from siemens tablet pcs to accomlish the same thing.
sorry i cannot be of more help

i emailed it to myself back in 2003!!
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\Cu rrentVersion\Winlogon\System
The value you need to add to System is "osk.exe"
(without quotes).
Important! preceed this with a comma if there are other values in this key.
best of luck!

I was unable to get osk.exe to work for me.
I can't access my account with out the password, and I don't have a working keyboard. I can't replace it until I get paid on the first.
I'm in the guest account, and I can't remove my password from the user accounts in the control panel.
What other options do I have?
If your not part of a Domain network, boot into safe mode using F8 and login to the hidden administrator account. You will be able to remove your password from there
