new laptop gets this logon error
got a new acer laptop, added to the domain and ran windows up dates ect started installing some software, when i came to it this morning and tried loging on at the domain adminstrator i got this message;
"the system cannot log you on due to the following error:
insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.
contact systems administrator."
logs on as local administrator fine, anyone any ideas??

4th March 2008, 12:32 PM #2 sounds like something is hogging the memory.
go to start > run > msconfig and under start-up & then services tab kill things off such as QuickTime that you don’t need.

4th March 2008, 12:34 PM #3 It does sound profile related however, as the local admin logs on fine. Surely Quicktime etc would be loaded by the local admin account

did a quick defrag and check disk and now seems fine, weird
