Exchange 2003 - Migrating
Hi,
I have just set up an Exchange Server 2003 as we are looking to run our email service ourselves.
Currently our ISP handles it for us and we download it via pop3.
Is there anything I need to be aware of during migration as we don't want to lose any emails? or does anyone have any tips that I will find useful. My boss has just thrust this on to me and wants it done asap, so I'm trying to research as much as possible.
Thanks in advance for any help.

29th February 2008, 03:13 PM #2 If you are collecting into outlook with pst files already then you can use Exmerge to import them to exchange (2003/2007 files are not supported with exmerge on Exchange 2003 and you have to move the contents to a new 2000 version pst before importing).
If you can only collect mail with pop3 then you will need a pop3 connector for exchange as it only does smtp (which is preferred) out of the box.
