    WininstallLe Help

I'm a bit stuck with WininstallLE.

I'm trying to write a package from scratch, very simple, two reg entries and one file and I can't do either.

I can add the file to the MSI but I can't work out how to set the target directory.

Secondly when I look at the registry section and it shows the four HKEY doofers. How do I add keys further down the tree. If I use add key to recreate all the levels of the tree and get permissions errors when I try and run the MSI. I need to add one key to an existing tree.

I would be tempted to just use the snapshot tool, make the required changes to the staging pc and then clean up anything unnessisary from the MSI afterwards. That seems to be how that program likes to run best.

thats how we do it here. Snapshot is much easier. Make sure you have a clean pc to do it on though.

Then afterwards take the repository things (in location) out of the file jobbibes!

    Or something... I try!
