IE7 falling over

There was a thread recently covering problems with IE7 falling over. Could someone point me in it's direction please.

As part of applying 94 (yes 94!) critical updates at a school I visit I recently installed IE7 on a half dozen Medion Cybermax PCMT5's (XP Pro SP2). 2 are running as users OK but the other 4 fail to succesfully run IE7 - it starts then closes.

I had that problem on my main Image PC.

Sorry to say I've no idea why it was doing it and it just started working one day as far as I remember...
