We currently have a school laptop that has xp home on it, whats the best, legal (obviously) and most economical way to obtain xp pro or even vista business. There's no upgrade route is there that I can get educational priced software for it is there?

You'd have to check if XP Home is a valid route to Vista Business though...

23rd January 2008, 11:40 AM #5 We get ours through the LEA for around £38. I just fax over an order and that's it. They send me a copy of the licence agreement. Simple as that.

Does your school not own a genuine copy of XP Pro SP2?
All our xp pro licences are oem. Is xp home a valid route to xp pro, I'd rather keep it as xp.
