    Hi, All

I have followed the threads & tried lots of Spyware removal software but still never had any luck. I was wondering if any one could advice me on how to remove this error. Also I have run Hijack this & my report is pasted below: -

From what I've seen on our laptops, Keyhook.exe isn't spyware/malware/whatever, it's just part of the SiS driver package. It sounds like you have a DLL version mismatch - that's the general reason for an "entry point not found" error. Try reinstalling the graphics drivers...

This registry key needs to be removed:

    HKLM\..\Run: [SiS Windows KeyHook] C:\WINDOWS\system32\keyhook.exe

Go to start -> run and type msconfig. Then choose the Startup tab and untick it.

It does however only seem to be a keyhook for your sis graphics card, probably for resolution shortcuts etc

keyhook.exe (despite it's silly name) is part of the SiS utilities installed on your system to control your VGA/motherboard settings. Remove (and optionally) reinstall the software.

Sounds like you need to remove it from the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run
part of your registry - type in regedit on the command line and work your way there, if its there then delete it. [ Make sure you backup your registry first ] - if you also google keybook.exe you will find tons of hits with information.

  9. Thanks to mattx from:
