    VLC Player msi

    Anyone know if you can deploy this with group policy natively or am i going to have to use WinInstall to create an msi?

    You should be able to use the information posted there with a wrapper to produce a working MSI that installs VLC silently.

    I had some success creating a package with the RM app wizard which is WinInstall LE (right?).

    Correct. I created it easily using the above tools also.

    We have VLC installed on a number of machines throughout the school, just a word of caution though, I know it is free and thats is great but there some DVD's (more specifically Disney ones) which do not play well with it.

    It seems to have some real trouble starting them after the piracy warnings, just something I thought was worth a mention.
