I'm waiting for the fun to start with this now, the school we do a joint 6th form with has apparently migrated to 2007 and whilst we have the compatibility pack I'm certain this will cause problems of some kind.
Im hoping that it works fine tbh.
A few of the kids, and staff, must have gotten new computers at home as more and more are wondering why *.docx doesnt work at the moment..
Guide on deplying Office compatibility pack using MSI in Ad

@leeshellard - saved me asking that question. Ta!![]()
Deploy OpenOffice alongside MS Office 2003.
Personally I'd use OpenOffice - works on just about anything and, you can give a CD to the pupils with it on. I dumped M$ a long time ago and went a combination of Mac and Ubuntu - never looked back.....
Neoffice reads and writes M$ files in .docx format.....
It doesn't come with a Database.
