Check the startup items in the affected profiles:

    On disk: %USERPROFILE%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
    In the registry: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Not that, i have tried on 3 admin accounts all have different types of profiles.
    Local
    Roaming
    Mandatory

I'm pretty sure i did, i will try again though.

    Did you?

Are you using a default profile in the server netlogon share?

Are you using a default profile?

Do the admin users have a roaming profile specified in the users tab?

So you have a default profile in the Netlogon folder on your DC servers?

If you have i'm thinking that this could be the problem as windows will always pick this up even if you don't specify it in GPO or the users tab.

Check your policy to see if you are running any logon scripts that don't exist anymore. Just your machine?

I guess it could be a broken service with netlogon being the current path during login.

Are you running a vanilla setup or managed e.g. RM?

"Its happening on all machines on the network"

But just for admin right? If you create a new user with admin rights does it do it with the new user?
