First, you need to add the commands to register and unregister at install and uninstall respectively in the CustomAction table (| denotes a column change):
UnregisterProdesktop | 18 | F59122_ProD.exe | /unregserver
RegisterProdesktop | 18 | F59122_ProD.exe | /regserver
Then you call the aforementioned actions from the InstallExecuteSequence table:
UnregisterProdesktop | REMOVED="ALL" | 1450
RegisterProdesktop | REMOVED<>"ALL" | 6650

meastaugh1, your edit worked just fine and the extrude issue wasn't preasent on install but if i unalocate the package it fails to uninstall with the error below, is it possibe that i've edited it incorrectly?
Thanks.
Product: PTC ProDESKTOP 8.0 -- Error 1721.There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Sounds as though the condition for the install command isn't working.
Try replacing the install and uninstall conditions with the following respectively:
NOT Installed
REMOVE=~”All” OR MaintenanceMode=”Remove”

It actually uninstalls correctly after a second reboot but i'll see if your other suggestion cleans it up.
Cheers.

Sorry to sound daft but is this right
UnregisterProdesktop | REMOVED="ALL" | 1450
RegisterProdesktop | REMOVED<>"ALL" | 6650
becomes
UnregisterProdesktop | NOT Installed | 1450
RegisterProdesktop | REMOVE=~”All” | 6650

Sorry, that'll teach me not to read posts.
Other way around, the new values should be:
UnregisterProdesktop | REMOVE=~”All” OR MaintenanceMode=”Remove” | 1450
RegisterProdesktop | NOT Installed | 6650
If you still have probs, let me know the error.

Ok, sorted it, just change the uninstall condition to REMOVE="All"
Tested this ok.

Hi, sorry for starting this topic up again.
I'm trying to distribute ProDesktop 8 with Zenworks. I've created a snapshot of the installation, am able to run the distribution as a non admin. But with the first run I just get the splashscreen, nothing more. If I then run it as a admin and then again as a non admin it works fine.
Has any found a solution for these issues?
Cheers!
