remote administration mode for terminal services on the 2000 server supports 2 admin connections.

Yep. It''s simply a case of installing the terminal services on W2k, setting it to admin mode and turning it on.![]()
Why not using a simple remote desktop solution instead of those ones?

You're right, there is no tab in 2000, however you might be able to use the same registry tweak as explained here for XP/2003.

You can also enable Remote Desktop via Group Policy too as explained here 2000/XP/2003
This is also possible in 2008 R2, but Microsoft being Microsoft have changed some GPOs around. The principle is the same however.
